Spark Creativity & Curiosity with the Interactive Mechatronic Piano!

Your adventure starts with the fundamental building blocks of technology: electricity. We’ll demystify circuits, explore voltage, and learn how to make things light up and move. Then, we’ll dive deeper into the world of electronics, discovering resistors, buttons, and the magic of breadboards. You’ll learn to control and manipulate electrical signals, laying the foundation for your musical creation.

You’ll put your newfound knowledge to practical use by building your own 3D-printed piano, piece by piece, and infusing it with technology. You’ll learn to use Arduino microcontrollers to wire circuits and program melodies, turning your mechanical creation into a digital instrument.

Finally, we’ll unlock the language of music. You’ll explore the fundamentals of music theory, learning about scales, chords, and composition. This newfound knowledge will empower you to craft your own unique soundscapes and express yourself through your instrument.

You’ll develop crucial STEM skills throughout the workshop, including problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative design. And at the end, you’ll take home your fully functional, programmable piano, a testament to your ingenuity and a springboard for future musical exploration.
